Our student teacher brought her box turtle and every kid in our class got to hold the turtles. When we were done, we got a card that had our name and a picture of a box turtle. THE END

Arf!

Do you know we are having  a musicl play?  Arf!  Mrs. Coon's, Mrs. Davis', and Mrs. Watkins' class is doing a play.  The songs are:  The is Our Night to Howl, What does it mean to be a Dog?, Fight Fear, and I may be Small. It will be so fun! :)  My part is the Siberian Husky.  The play is on April 5th.  I am so excited! :)

I cannot wait until the class play, Arf! I'm Dali the Dalmation. I wonder who everyone is? Ryan is General German Sherperd. I know all of the songs and they are awsome. My favorite is Fight Fair. My best friend Dayla has a whole solo for I May be Small. I cannot wait until Arf!

Dr Seuss week

Dr Seuss week was a blast. A lot of people dressed up. It was an exciting week. Monday we wore our shirts backwords and mismatched them. Tuesday we wore red and blue. Wednesday we dressed like the 70s. Thursday we dressed like the 50s. Friday we dressed like the Cat in the hat.

The Sock Hop

The Sock Hop was so fun! To go to the Sock Hop you had to pay $3.00. For snack we got cookies and a drink. We played 3 games: a bubblegum blowing contest, a limbo contest, and a hula hoop contest. This was after school fun and we spent time with friends. It was great :)

The Sock Hop is when everybody dresses up like the 50's! You had to pay $3.00 to get in. There were snacks, drinks, and even 3 contests!  They were optional.  There was a  limbo contest, a hula hoop contest, and a bubble gum blowing contest. You could get a picture made too! It was a lot of fun!

Beauty and the Beast

It was amazing when the Beast turned back into a human. Luminire, the candle stick, was cool.  It was Mrs. Coon`s son, Smith.  It was brilliant. I sat by Ryan at the Princess Theater.  I loved it!

The 5th 4th & 3rd graders did the play. The 3rd graders were spoons, knifes, servers, and forks. The 4th graders were townsfolks & wolves. 5th graders were the main parts. I think I would do good on that part.

On March 1st, Ben Davis went to the Princess Theater to see the play Beauty and The Beast. The play was performed by 3rd 4th and 5th graders from Leon Shefflied. You could have gone March 1st and March 2nd. They did a very good job I wonder what play Leon Shefflid will do next year?!?!

Was your cousin,sister, or brother in the play? I liked it, did you? The play was done by 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. They sang and danced. Spoons and forks danced and sang.

Science Fair Posters

I did a bar graph on my science fair poster. My title was called How Many Different Animals Communicate. I did a lot of research on ten different animals.  I found out that there are five ways animals communicate:  by sounds, scents, facial gestures, movement, and touch.  Gorillas and dogs have the most ways of communicating and bees only have one way of communicating.  I learned a lot from doing my poster.  It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see who wins!

Today Ben Davis science fair posters are due.The theme is the animal kingdom. You had to research and design a poster .Judges will decide who is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place on Thursday.  It will be very exciting.  If you are doing it... good luck!

The Mile Run

On March, 22 there will be a mile run at Delano Park. This is a great time to see how fast you can  run a mile! It will be very fun!
