The Coin Drop

Ben Davis started the coin drop, Feb 11th to 15th. At the talent show, Mrs. Hughes' s class won the talent show coin drop. The classes that won were: 1st was Mrs. O'Hara's class then Mrs.Wiley's was in 2nd and in 3rd was Mrs. Burton

The Coin Drop is when each class gives money / coins to the school. Whoever gets the most by the end of the week wins!!!

The coin drop is a fundraiser for the school . We give coins and bills to the school. It is going to be in each classroom. It will help the school. It will be through February 10-15. It will be really fun!

Benjamin Davis Got Talent

Ben Davis is going to put on a talent show. The show is going to be at Ben Davis. The talent show will start at 6.00. There is no judging.  Everyone is just going to be showing their skill.

Biogrophies Alive project

We are doing a project on famous people. Everybody is researching a different person. We are going to dress up as our person on February 8, 2013. We are going to make a poster on our person. We also made a folder to put note cards in. We are making a newspaper. I am dressing up as Abraham Lincoln. One of my freinds is dressing up as Hellen Keller.

An Upcoming Field Trip to the Circus!!!

I cannot wait to go to the Princess Theater to see the Shanghai Circus. There will be acrobats and people flying through the air!

All of the 2nd grade will go to the circus on Feb 21. The money is past due and it is $7.  It will be from 12:30-2:20.

The 100th Day Of School

On the 100th day of school we all dressed like a 100 year old. My teacher, Mrs.Coon, gave all my class a 100 day cookie.  It was so much fun!  We got a 100 day snack.  We had to take 10 of each things.  All the teachers were so funny.  They looked fabulous!

100th day of school

The 100th day of school is this Thursday, January 24th.  It will be a fun day at Ben Davis.  The second graders are dressing up like there are 100 years old!
